The MORICA’s destination camps will include intense instruction to elevate your game, in addition to tips on how to prevent injuries and enhance your overall fitness level. The 5 day Destination Camp will include 10 hours of instruction, observed Round Robin format games and mini Tournament. 

8:1 Participant to Instructor ratio.

Our 10 hours of intense instructions cover topics including dinking and dinking strategy, 3rd shot drop and 3rd shot drive, transition from the baseline to the kitchen, volleys, how to beat a banger and how to be a better banger, court positioning and movement, lobs, lob retrieval and overheads.

Richard Lee

Richard Lee has always have a love for racket sports. He grew up playing badminton and later on tennis and squash as well. Richard also loves to teach and had led fitness classes for over 10 years. Since discovering Pickleball in 2015 he knew that it was the sport for him. His passion for Pickleball has led him to pursue coaching. Having an analytical mind allows him to give his participants proper corrections for positive outcomes. He has been coaching Pickleball for 2 years and plays competitively.

He holds a diploma in Mechanical Technology, a Bachelor in Business Administration, and has been in real estate sales for 30 years.

Mona Lee

Mona is an IPTPA (International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association) Level 1 Certified Pickleball instructor (CPI) and coaches players of all ages and skill levels. She is part of the Manta Pro-Team coaching various Pickleball clinics throughout the lower mainland. Mona has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Simon Fraser University, majoring in in Marketing & Organizational Behaviour with a minor in Psychology. She is a professional model, and a pastry chef. She loves to ballroom dance, bike & swim.

Catalin Costea

Catalin brings experience and diversity to the pickleball courts during his lessons and clinics. As a certified TPA instructor for over 10 years and now IPTPA instructor since 2017, Catalin has developed a keen eye for finding ways to help improve his students' game. He uses an interactive teaching style, filled with various techniques, hands on experience and a lot of fun.

Catalin is not only a committed pickleball instructor, he is also a dedicated player.
